Project Description

Patterns In Context is a theory of AI with obvious relationships to cognitive architectures like ACT-R, Soar and Prodigy. Like category theory, it was derived from geometry and has application to mathematical logic, computer science and AI. It is similar to and consistent with the FRDCSA theory, in that it defines implementable procedures for various cognitive abilities. For instance, it is already proving valuable for knowledge management. We intend here to implement PIC, picform, PICVis, etc. This is to provide a system in which we may usefully represent J's writings, in a form that will allow us to progress with the larger philosophical and ethical program formally for humanitarian awareness, instruction, and coordinated action. The writings may easily be converted into requirements specifications for the various existing or novel systems of the FRDCSA. In order to revitalize the project and ensure its eventual disemination, by giving it ethical leadership and forming it in communion with larger groups of like minded individuals on a humanitarian mission with global change potential. Utilizing both vision and technology, we envision a great synergy, and intend to promote symbiotic as opposed to predatory or parasitic life, by helping to conduct, define and achieve the states of consciousness necessary to achieve coordinated priority systems. Justin's work is every bit as powerful as the FRDCSA and therefore it makes perfect sense to effect this new humanitarian agenda. PIC has always been obviously the engine with which to run the FRDCSA, it is however a complex undertaking. We want to form a picform Java or Perl representation of my writings and form a searchable library of the insights and essays in all the writings. (should this be wiki like?) And form a dependency chart between the insights and essays so that we can map the epistemological and ontological relations between all of the insights and essays and descriptions so that they can be represented formally as picform data structures so that we can then highlight global objects and contextualize all of the other objects so that we can form CDRs between all of the contextualized objects and map CDRs between the global objects and the contextualized objects axiomatically to form new contexts for the data structures which yield far more truth and insights and possibilities for augmentation, growth, modification, and specialization. The beauty of picform is that it makes data structures and perspectives extremely simple and accurate translatable from one zoomable contextual perspective to another due to its extremely epistemologically and metaphoric method of organizing and constructing ontologies which improve upon and combine the best, most truth-yielding, interconnecting, clarifying, awareness maximizing aspects of different data structures and contextual perspectives.
