Introduction

Thank you for your interest in the FRDCSA project. The FRDCSA project is a long-term, forward-looking, volunteer-based, not-for-profit meta-project aimed at the general goal of making computer systems better able to solve problems affecting people and societies. To this end there are hundreds of projects and tens of thousands of recorded and interrelated goals which aim to improve existing ethics and technology. The FRDCSA is primarily a project dedicated to developing Friendly Artificial Intelligence.

Note: My goal is to help enable you with your own projects, and to work together where we have similar interests.

Expectations

Students can expect to receive detailed instruction (if possible) and guidance in their respective areas of interest. They can expect to learn (if they do not already know) how to contribute to open source projects and collaborate online.

Qualifications

I welcome anyone to work with us, as I am willing to help where I can to elevate the skills of all people. Different skills will be needed for different projects. For any of the more moderate projects programming skills are needed. Most of the work is Linux based, but people who are more comfortable with Windows can also apply.
